However, the company has introduced a new Plus model of the iPhone 14, which is equipped with a 6.7-inch display. While the screen size of the iPhone 14 has been kept at 6.1 inches like last year.

Both these models have a new dual camera system from Apple which is 12 megapixels. The selfie camera in the iPhone 14 and 14 Plus has also been upgraded to allow users to take better pictures.

The battery in the new iPhone 14 has also been improved, allowing users to use the mobile for longer.

iPhone 14 Pro and 14 Pro Max

The biggest changes Apple has made this year are the iPhone 14 Pro and 14 Pro Max. In which the design, chipset, camera, display, and battery have all been upgraded.

Apple has changed its traditional notch design to the iPhone 14 Pro and Pro Max by adding a small bullet-like notch, which Apple calls the 'Dynamic Island'.

The notch has a front camera and Face ID system. Not only this but during the notification, this 'Dynamic Island' will pop up and its size will also change according to the notification.

The display size of the iPhone 14 Pro and Pro Max is the same as last year, but this time it is brighter. Apart from this, Apple has also introduced the 'Always On Display feature in these models for the first time.

These two new models use the most powerful chip ever, the A16, and for the first time, Apple has increased the megapixels of its cameras in the Pro models.

Apple's main camera in iPhone 14 Pro and Pro Max is 48 megapixels, which will provide users with a new experience in better pictures. In addition, the other two cameras are 12, and 12 megapixels.

The battery of both these iPhones has also been improved.

Apple has introduced a new 'crash detection' feature and 'Emergency SOS via Satellite' across the entire iPhone 14 lineup.

What is Crash Detection and Emergency SOS Via Satellite?

The crash detection feature on the iPhone can automatically contact emergency services in the event of a road accident if the user's condition deteriorates or the iPhone is inaccessible.

Similarly, the satellite feature of Emergency SOS can connect the antenna directly to the satellite with the help of software and other technologies and send messages to contact emergency services in case of a lack of cellular network or Wi-Fi coverage.

The price of the new iPhone lineup has been kept the same as last year. iPhone 14 starts at $799, iPhone 14 Plus starts at $899.

Introducing new watches

Apple introduced a total of three new watches at its event on Wednesday, with the Watch Ultra being the centre of attention.

Apple's second new watch is the Series 8, this time with two new temperature sensors. The watch checks your temperature every five seconds, and Apple says it can detect temperature changes of up to 0.1 degrees Celsius.

Apple has also introduced a new version of the Watch SE with an S8 chip that makes it 20 per cent faster than the 2020 model.

The price of the company's introduced Watch Ultra is $799, the Watch 8 GPS is priced at $399, and the lowest cellular price is $499. Similarly, the GPS model of the Watch SE starts at $249 and the cellular one starts at $299.
