Whatsapp Security Update – New Security Update for WhatsApp Desktop Users

Whatsapp Security Update – Today the whole world is moving ahead with the changing times. In such a situation, social media is also taking a new turn day by day. From young children to elders, everyone is aware of social media. But in these, we also need to pay attention to the security of our social media accounts. However, many times you must have heard the news that accounts are hacked, and along with this our important information also gets leaked. That's why we need to pay attention to the security settings of our accounts.

In such a situation, the WhatsApp app has updated new security dating for desktop users. Instant messaging app WhatsApp is going to bring a new feature for its users. This special feature will be only for desktop users. The company takes special care of security on its platform, so the feature of two-step verification will come on the desktop. Due to this feature, you can stay safe from unauthorized logins.

If you log into WhatsApp using a new smartphone, the app asks you for a 6-digit code, which is sent to your registered mobile number. So, for desktop login, all you have to do is scan a QR code on WhatsApp Web and you can log in to your account. It does not require any kind of pin.

Now WhatsApp chats on the desktop will also require a PIN for better and secure access. WABetaInfo reports that "WhatsApp Everywhere wants to make it easier to manage 2-Step Verification, so they are working on introducing this feature on web/desktop in future updates." Although it is currently being tested, it may be released for WhatsApp Web and desktop users soon.
