WhatsApp introduces two new unique features for Android users

One of the main reasons for the popularity of WhatsApp, the world's most popular messaging application, is that it regularly releases new features and security updates for its users. According to WayBeta Info, a website that monitors changes in WhatsApp, WhatsApp has introduced a new feature to empower group admins. Thanks to which now the admins will be able to delete any unwanted images, videos, audios and messages.

WhatsApp has released this feature to Android beta testers for now. However, it will be rolled out to all users in the next phase. In this regard, WhatsApp says that it was necessary to empower the admins to run the group in a better way, because at the moment it is a headache for the group admins to send unnecessary and irrelevant messages.

In this case, the only option left for the admin is to limit the facility of sending messages in the group setting to 'admin only', but this does not allow for two-way communication and sometimes defeats the purpose of the group. According to WayBeta Info, the message deleted by the group admin will be known to all the members in the group.

WhatsApp has been working on this feature for the past one year and it is expected to be rolled out to all users in an upcoming update. While no details have been provided yet as to when this important feature will be released for iOS users.

Apart from this, WhatsApp is also working on the in-app announcement feature. In this feature that works like a chatbot, announcements can be made within the application. This feature is still being rolled out for Android beta users. However, there is no word on when it will be rolled out to all users.
