Former Federal Minister and Senior Vice President of Tehreek-e-Insaf Fawad Chaudhry while talking to Urdu News said that not all the money announced in the telethon is collected, but a large part of the money announced is collected.

Fawad Chaudhry said that "apart from the telethon, a web portal was also launched for overseas Pakistanis, in which 1.4 million dollars have been collected so far and money is being collected continuously through this portal."

Dr Amjad Saqib, the founder of Akhot Foundation, a charity organization working in Pakistan, says that 'some donors are contacted even before the telethon and this is a positive thing so that people are attracted to donate.'

According to Dr Amjad Saqib, “Donors are informed about the telethon. They may not be aware that a telethon is taking place. Therefore, donors who are known to give donations come to the telethon and announce it. This creates a spirit of donation among people.

How many of the announced donations have been received so far?

Former Federal Minister Fawad Chaudhry said that in the Prime Minister's telethon, an appeal has been made to donate to the accounts of Bank of Punjab and Bank of Khyber.

He said that the bank accounts given are government accounts and not those of PTI or Imran Khan, because the audit of personal accounts takes time, so the government accounts were provided and whatever money was in these two accounts. When collected, it will not be limited to Punjab and Khyber Pakhtunkhwa but will be used to help flood victims throughout Pakistan.

He said that the portal that has been created for overseas Pakistanis is depositing money in the Bank of Punjab account through credit card and so far 1.4 million dollars have been collected apart from the telethon.

Giving more details in this regard, Fawad Chaudhry said that the details of the money accumulated in the two accounts given in the telethon will be provided on a daily basis from Monday. Most of the big money that has been announced is found, there is also a small amount that people announce but it does not reach.

How much of the money announced in the telethon is possible to raise?

He said that in an average telethon, 20 to 30 per cent of the declared amount is collected, but if all the factors of the telethon are present, then 60 to 70 per cent of the declared amount would be collected. Is.'

According to Dr Amjad Saqib, "not only overseas Pakistanis but also in Pakistan, there are donors who are ready to donate up to 100 billion rupees in a day."

How will the proceeds from the telethon be used?
