After the holidays ended on Monday, there has been a decline of about 75 percent in the film's earnings on Tuesday. Till Monday, the film had earned Rs 45.75 crore at the box office, while on Tuesday, the first working day of Advait Chandan's film has earned only Rs 2 crore. In this way, the total earning of the film in 6 days has now been Rs 47.75 crore only. It is certainly a big setback for Bollywood that a big film like 'Lal Singh Chaddha' has to be destroyed like this. There is a constant demand for boycott on social media regarding the film. Due to this negativity, the collection of the film has been badly affected. While the slow story of the film has also not been liked by the audience. An even bigger setback for Aamir Khan's film is that theater owners have canceled 70 percent of its shows after seeing the condition of the film. That is, now due to this, there is going to be a deep impact on earnings.
Laal Singh Chaddha also stars Kareena Kapoor Khan, Mona Singh, Manav Vij and Naga Chaitanya along with Aamir Khan. It is a remake of Hollywood movie 'Forrest Gump'. Unfortunately, this film had a chance to take advantage of the extended weekend of 4 days as well as the Independence Day holiday on Monday. Lal Singh Chaddha did a business of Rs 10.25 crore on Sunday. Despite the Independence Day holiday on Monday, the film collected only Rs 8 crore. While Tuesday was also a Parsi New Year holiday in many parts of the country. But the box office collection of the film fell down. Along with 'Lal Singh Chaddha', Akshay Kumar's 'Raksha Bandhan' was also released on Thursday. The condition of this film is even worse. Directed by Aanand L Rai, 'Raksha Bandhan' has earned just Rs 1.65 crore on Tuesday. The total earning of Akshay Kumar's film is Rs 35.15 crore in 6 days.
Mega budget of 180 crores, even trouble in earning 70-80 crores
The budget of Aamir Khan's 'Lal Singh Chaddha' is being told as Rs 180 crore. As the situation is, now this film will be able to earn only Rs 53-54 crore in its first week till Thursday.
